Information for presenters

 

In Person Presenters 

We are delighted to be able to share your acoustics research with other conference delegates.

Please bring along your presentation on the day on a memory stick. Your presentation will need to be given to the AV Technician prior to your allocated slot. Please arrive in plenty of time to allow time to do this.

We would be grateful if you can please adhere to the following:

  • When you start your presentation, please thank the Chair or conference organisers for introducing you, or words to that effect.
  • Please acknowledge all people involved in the research you are presenting.
  • Please stick to your allotted time. Presentation should be a maximum of 15 minutes. There will be 3 minutes for Q&A and 2 minutes to move on for the next speaker.
  • Please put in your contact details in the presentation at the beginning or end.
  • Please end your talk by handing back over the Co-Chairs. Each session will have time for Q&A and that will be live and also recorded.

 

Virtual Presenters - Recording your presentation for the conference

We are delighted to be able to share your acoustics research with other conference delegates. Below is a brief guide to creating your recording.

Each recording will be played separately during your conference session and will then be displayed on the conference platform for attendees to access who missed the session.

If you haven’t had to record a presentation before, please watch this short recording of how you can record your presentation using PPT. You may have other preferred options, this is just a suggestion.

  • Please stick to your allotted time. Presentation clips should be a maximum of 15 minutes. Following playback there will be 3 minutes for Q&A and 2 minutes to move on for the next speaker.

  • Please end your talk by handing back over the Co-Chairs. Each session will have time for Q&A and that will be live and also recorded.
  • Please save your file as surnamePRESENTER
  • Please upload your file to the shared folder. You can access the folder by clicking on the link by the 2nd of September 2024.
